Reformer Works Pilates Studio – General Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to Reformer Works Pilates Studio (“Reformer Works”, “we”, “our”, “us”). These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our services and facilities. By using our services, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Membership and Class Bookings

2.1 Membership Types: We offer various membership options. Details are available at our studio and on our website.

2.2 Class Bookings: Classes must be booked in advance. Bookings can be made through our online system, by phone, or in person at the studio.

2.3 Class Cancellations: Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours before the scheduled class. Late cancellations or no-shows will incur a fee or loss of the class credit. Please see our cancellation policy for more details.

2.4 Membership Cancellations: Memberships can be cancelled as per the terms specific to your membership type. Please refer to our cancellation agreement for details.

3. Payments

3.1 Payment Methods: Payments can be made via credit card, debit card, or bank transfer. All payments must be made in New Zealand Dollars.

3.2 Payment Schedule: Membership fees are due in advance. Class packages and casual class fees must be paid at the time of booking.

3.3 Refunds: Refunds are subject to our refund policy. Please contact us for specific details.

4. Health and Safety

4.1 Health Declaration: Members must complete a health declaration form before their first class. Please inform us of any medical conditions, injuries, or concerns prior to attending a class.

4.2 Participation: Participation in classes is at your own risk. We are not responsible for any injuries sustained during class.

4.3 Studio Etiquette: Members are expected to follow studio etiquette, including wearing appropriate attire, arriving on time, and maintaining cleanliness. You are required to arrive a minimum of 5 minutes before each class commences. If you are late to class the door may be locked and this will be considered as no show.

5. Privacy and Data Protection

5.1 Personal Information: We collect and store personal information in accordance with New Zealand privacy laws. Your information will be used solely for providing our services and will not be shared with third parties without your consent.

5.2 Communication: By providing your contact information, you agree to receive communications from us regarding your membership, class bookings, and promotional offers.

6. Studio Policies

6.1 Behaviour: We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone displaying inappropriate or disruptive behaviour. We will not tolerate any kind of discrimination or behaviour that creates a hostile and unpleasant environment for staff or members.

6.2 Changes to Schedule: Reformer Works Limited prides itself on quality and will undertakes to deliver all our classes on time and as advertised, classes however are subject to change may be cancelled without notice. Reformer Works Limited is not liable to refund, transfer or offer compensation of any kind for classes that are late, cancelled or changed for any reason. Details are provided in our Cancellation Policy detailed above. A minimum of 4 people per class is required for a class to go ahead. You will be contacted via text, phone or email should a class be cancelled, and your session will be credited back to your account.

6.3 Personal Belongings: We are not responsible for any lost or stolen personal belongings. Please secure your valuables. Our studio is an inclusive space.

7. Liability

7.1 Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Reformer Works Limited is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of our services.

7.2 Indemnity: You agree to indemnify and hold Reformer Works Limited harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms.

8. Amendments

8.1 Changes to Terms: We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.
